dEcode® and Learning Disabilities
dEcode® has been clinically tested on hundreds of learners and has been proven to be an effective tool to help students of all ages to achieve high degrees of competence in literacy and numeracy, especially where other learning systems have failed.
In particular, dEcode® has been used to help students with learning disabilities (LD) to overcome significant obstacles to both literacy and numeracy.
The term "Learning Disability" implies that an individual has difficulty learning via traditional means.
People with learning disabilities are at least of average intelligence and in some cases, of superior intelligence and are frequently quite intellectually gifted.
What is a Learning Disability?
Definition: "Learning Disabilities" refers to a variety of disorders that affect the acquisition, retention, understanding, organization or use of verbal and/or non-verbal information. These disorders result from impairments in one or more psychological processes related to learning, in combination with otherwise average abilities essential for thinking and reasoning. Broadly speaking, a Learning Disability affects the individual at the processing level. Some of the most common categories are:

- The difference between ADD/ADHD and CAPD

- Dyslexia
